Jaguar F-Type R Bloodhound SSC Rapid Response Vehicle Unveiled

Jaguar has introduced the F-Type R Bloodhound SSC Rapid Response Vehicle that will make its first official appearance during the Coventry MotoFest. 

Jaguar explains this is one of the cars that will support the Bloodhound world land speed record attempt. It is designed by Jaguar Land Rover’s Special Vehicle Operations and features a bespoke livery created by Jaguar Design incorporating the Bloodhound SSC colors.
 
Jaguar also adds that the F-Type R AWD already had a critical role in the development of the rocket-powered Bloodhound SSC, the machine that will attempt to break the world land speed record, with a communications test back in November 2014. 

Along with the Bloodhound F-Type at the Coventry MotoFest will be a line-up of Jaguar heritage vehicles, including the 1953 C-Type, the 1956 D-Type Long Nose and the 1966 XJ13 – the only one of its kind in existence. The Coventry MotoFest starts on May 29.
